Expedia.ca reports that Toronto lodging requests spiked by 8,000 per cent following Swift’s announcement of her concert dates, which currently mark the end of her record-shattering Eras Tour.

The following 10 Toronto hotel recommendations are inspired by each of Taylor Swift’s Eras, so you can book them for her 2024 tour dates or a quick Eras-inspired getaway.

Reputation Era: Bisha Hotel Toronto

Era vibe: Dark, serpents, edgy

The Super Bowl may be over, but Swifties have much to look forward to this year. In celebration of her upcoming tour, the Bisha Hotel (a five-minute walk from the Rogers Centre) is renaming one of its suites “The Taylor”, and will even rebrand all of its seven floors to something Eras inspired as the tour date approaches.

The Taylor suite will feature visuals from her albums, custom friendship bracelets, a curated Taylor playlist and a celebratory bottle of Prosecco. We are here for it. Book your stay here.

Reputation is Swift’s edgiest album with a rock and roll spirit plus black and silver themes with a hint of sparkle. The Bisha Hotel’s aesthetic captures this best with heavy black drapery, sleek black furnishings, provocative artwork and dark marble bathrooms. Some rooms even have a record player, so don’t forget to pack your copy of Reputation on vinyl.

Much like Taylor’s debut album, the 1 Hotel Toronto has a rustic feel while also being young and vibrant. Touches like warm, natural-toned woods and wicker lighting fixtures give it a country flair in a downtown location. Rooms and common areas are light and airy with florals and greenery throughout, plus there’s an inviting lobby with a wood fireplace.

Fearless Era: The Ritz-Carlton

Era vibe: Gold and white, glitter, hopeless romantic

Embrace the Fearless Era aesthetic at Toronto’s Ritz-Carlton, which balances elegance and trendy with warm and inviting. The decor is bold but still soft, capturing the essence of gold sparkles that were everywhere during that tour, with fun touches like sunflower paintings. Don’t forget to pack your sequin dress and rhinestone adorned acoustic guitar.

Speak Now Era: St. Regis Hotel

Era vibe: Purple, fantasy, regal

In an era defined by love songs with a hint of revenge, the St. Regis Hotel has everything you need to embrace the Speak Now life, including romantic rose petal baths. The hotel has a regal ambiance that fits the album’s princess gown and fantasy feel. There are purple accents throughout – the era’s signature colour – along with jeweled chandeliers and edgy black touches. There’s also rumours of ghosts, making it the best spot to celebrate an album with a tune called “Haunted.”

Era vibe: Vibrant, vintage, creative, experimental

Put on a red lip and step into one of Swift’s boldest eras with a visit to the Omni King Edward Hotel. There are red touches throughout the hotel, from accent walls to furnishings in the rooms and suites. You can imagine that she would be impressed by the giant chess pieces in the lobby since there are references to strategy and the game itself throughout her body of work.

1989 Era: W Toronto

Era vibe: Blue, trendy, whimsical and dreamy

Blue is the signature colour of the 1989 era, an album that embraces girl power and female friendships. The W Toronto captures that aura. It’s very trendy and “it girl” while still having an element of dreaminess. The rooms themselves feature bold blue accent walls combined with soft and whimsical decor in muted purples and pink velvets.

Gladstone House

Lover Era: Gladstone House

Era vibe: Bright, dreamy pastels, rainbows, self-love

The Lover Era is all about rebirth following the Reputation Era, defined by dreamy pastels, rainbows and loving who you are. It’s also less of a romantic album and jumps more into political commentary. This makes the Gladstone House the hotel that best encapsulates this era.

It’s fun, funky and retro with bright neon touches throughout and Pegasus artwork on the walls. It’s also located in a hip, artistic neighbourhood. Lover is also an album that celebrates Swift’s friends in the LGBTQIA+ community, and this hotel is known as an inclusive space.

Era vibe: Cottagecore, earthy, cozy

2020 brought us the Folklore Era, complete with its rustic and cozy vibes, and the Ace Hotel Toronto embodies the aesthetic. It’s decorated in warm browns, neutral tones and moody greens alongside bare wood accents that evoke a country chic feel. There are plants and greenery throughout the property, a cozy fireplace in the lobby, and the rooms include record players, vintage albums and even acoustic guitars. Put on your favourite chunky knit sweater and lounge around the hotel by day, then put on your finest and head out to the Taylor Swift show by night.

Evermore Era: Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel

Era vibe: Warmth, earthy tones, winter energy

There’s some overlap between the Folklore and Evermore Eras – they were both released in 2020, after all – so they share some of the same vibes. Evermore is about earthy browns, greens and rusts, and cozy winter energy, which you’ll find at the Sheraton Centre Toronto. Don’t let its bustling downtown location fool you. When you step through its doors, the hotel is decorated in warm woods, a courtyard with a waterfall, and an outdoor pool that’s open year-round.

The Drake Hotel

Midnights Era: The Drake Hotel

Era vibe: Dark blue, silver stars, retro ’70s feel

Taylor Swift’s Midnights Era is all about being bright, dreamy and a light in the dark, and the hotel that best captures this essence is The Drake. The rooms have a vintage ’70s vibe, much like Swift’s video for “Anti-Hero.” It’s a place where artists and night owls stay, with an attached nightclub and moody, dreamscape decor. Plus, it’s located in a hip, artsy neighbourhood.
