Even at a young age, Bryan had a lot to say about choosing the right materials. Here he’s letting his aircraft-engineer dad know the thickness of this wood just isn’t right to fix the fence behind them.

The smiles here say it all: Bryan and Sarah Baeumler were over-the-moon happy when they married 12 years ago.

Starting up the first season of “Disaster DIY,” Bryan is baby faced and ready to get building…or demolishing, whichever needed to happen the most.

By 2011, Byran and Sarah Baeumler’s family had grown to five with the births of Quintyn Werner, Charlotte Anne and Lincoln Wolfgang. Here, they’re all tucked in watching “Treehouse” together.

Welcoming their fourth child in November 2012, Bryan and baby Josephine Judith get some much needed rest between feedings and diaper changes (for the baby, not Bryan).

Bryan and Sarah were invited to partake in The National Ballet of Canada’s production of The Nutcracker…and were brilliantly cast as kooky clowns.

No longer two crazy kids from Ontario, Bryan and Sarah are bona fide international home-improvement stars with black-tie galas and award shows now on their agendas.

But no matter where their busy careers take them, family time at the cottage remains the top priority for Bryan and Sarah. And when you look at their adorable family, you can see why.

You know you’re Canadian when…a much-anticipated date night takes place at a Blue Jays game with beers in plastic cups and flying baseballs.

Being a contractor working in the Canadian winter is not for the faint hearted. But as always, Bryan is prepared for anything.

While Bryan’s sage advice is often wise beyond his years, we don’t think he actually looks beyond his 41 years…except when he’s playing with an aging app on his phone, that is.
