Former First Lady Jacqueline (AKA Jackie) Kennedy’s previous home is officially going to auction later this month. It’s an opulent property that’s quite fitting for Jackie so it’s no surprise why she fell in love with the house.

Located in the upscale neighbourhood of Georgetown in Washington, DC, Jackie purchased the 18th-century residence after the tragic assassination of her husband, President John F. Kennedy. She lived there for only a year with her children as it became a public hotspot, especially from the paparazzi. Since her departure, the home has been tastefully renovated with the highest quality finishes while still retaining its original charm. The former Kennedy residence is now combined with two other homes, creating a massive 16,300-square-foot compound that boasts 13 bedrooms, 13 full baths and five half baths.

Let’s take a peek inside the historical mansion, shall we?
