I can feel something inside me say… Cher (aka the “Goddess of Pop”) listed her Miami mansion for a show-stopping price of $42.5 million.
The 12,450-square-foot Spanish-style estate features six bedrooms, six full bathrooms and three half baths. Located in the prestigious gated community of La Gorce Island, which connects by bridge to Miami Beach, the property sits on the island’s pristine coastline on two-thirds of an acre, and has around 158 feet of unobstructed waterfront views.
The multi-talented singer, actress and fashion icon first purchased the home in 1993. After adding her own Cher-like personal touches, she sold it to Calvin Klein co-founder Barry K. Schwartz three years later.
Take a peek below and step inside Cher’s former home.
The Miami Breeze Goes On
The home features Moorish architectural elements that the “Believe” singer was fond of. Arched Mediterranean-style windows provide natural light, while the doorways let in the Miami sea breeze.
Gourmet Kitchen
The stunning chef’s kitchen has Brazilian oak flooring that’s continued throughout the house and connects to the bar room off the side. In the centre sits a beautiful large marble counter island with top-of-the-line appliances, perfect for cooking lavish meals.
“Sunny” and Cher
Outside, the mature palm trees surround the 50-foot resort-style swimming pool. Additionally, there’s a hot tub, sauna and sun deck. Plus there’s a cold plunge, cabana bath and pool house to keep extra cool from the hot Miami sun.
It’s All in the Details
Other gorgeous elements include a grand entryway with double-height ceilings and a dual-wood and iron railing staircase. The primary suite is a palatial sanctuary that’s both bright and cozy. There’s a sitting room, custom wardrobe closet, breathtaking marble bath in the ensuite and large private terrace handy for relaxing and escaping reality.
