Celine Dion’s Spectacular Florida Water Park Home Sells for $38.5M

Celebrated Quebec-born chanteuse Celine Dion and husband Rene Angelil (who passed away in 2016) purchased two side-by-side waterfront properties in Jupiter, Florida, back in 2008, completely razing the buildings and constructing this brand new home, sparing no expense to create the ultimate beach getaway on the 5.7-acre oceanfront lot.

The Bahamian-style mansion was built with multiple glass windows throughout in order to provide an open, airy feel while taking full advantage of the spectacular beachfront view.

Construction of the home was completed in 2010, with the 20,000-square-foot home boasting 13 bedrooms, 14 bathrooms and the kind of amenities you’d expect to see in the grand home of one of the world’s most beloved entertainers. This expansive dining room features sliding glass doors offering easy access to the outdoor pool deck.

The design of the family room, seen from the vantage of the kitchen, sets a television and fireplace within a bank of floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook the beach.

The home’s master bedroom features a wall of windows overlooking the Atlantic ocean, and French doors that exit to a private deck.

The master bedroom boasts a flatscreen TV mounted in the angled ceiling to ensure the spectacular ocean view remains perfectly unobstructed – and absolutely perfect!

This custom-designed walk-in closet is utterly spectacular, including such features as a mechanized shoe rack that can store 500 pairs of shoes. Although the home itself is beyond massive, there are also some cozy spots such as this sunny children’s room, ideal for curling up with a good book. A French door opens to the pool and, beyond that, the glorious sandy beach.

The rear of the house is dominated by the huge swimming pool, along with the kind of features normally found only in water parks.

Opposite the main house on the other side of the pool is a huge mansion-sized guest house, also reflecting a Bahamian influence.

A fire pit is the focus of this lovely outdoor seating area set within the pool, with the slides and water park features seen in the distance.

In addition to the main house and the guest house, the pool is surrounded by several pavilions, each serving a unique purpose, such as a tennis house that features a simulated golf range.

This man-made river winds its way through the main house and the pavilions, leading to the pool and the water park area, which boasts water slides and water-spraying guns.
