Meet Mandy Rennehan
Meet Mandy Rennehan, the host of Trading Up With Mandy Rennehan. She’s a proud self-made entrepreneur and CEO of Freschco. Not to be confused with the grocery chain, Freshco is a North American on-call retail maintenance facilities provider. Under Mandy’s supervision, Frescho now services popular retailers like Gap, Apple, Sephora and Lululemon.
Fun fact: Mandy started the business at 20-years-old!

Mandy lives in the gorgeous port town of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, with her partner Lauren. The sweet couple are proud dog parents to two West Highland Terriers, Jackie and Rita. Lucky for us viewers, the pups will also be making special appearances on the show.

The origin behind Mandy’s nickname “Bear” comes from her beloved signature trait. She simply loves giving everyone she meets a big, warm bear hug!
Denika Coakley
Denka Coackley aka “Deki” is the project lead on Mandy’s crew. She’s a passionate carpenter who documents her adventures of flipping homes on her YouTube channel. Currently, she’s building her family’s very own tiny home on wheels as a passion project. When she’s not working, she loves spending time with her two young daughters.
Julie Mood
Julie Mood aka “Mini” is the crew’s design and construction manager. Ten years ago Mandy took Julie under her wing and welcomed her into the trades community. Today, Julie is running her own successful interior design business in Yarmouth called Julie Mood Interiors. Julie is a dog lover just like Mandy and frequently posts about her pup Indie Instagram.
Jaymin Luces-Mendes
Jaymin Luces-Mendes is one of the apprentices on this season of Trading Up with Mandy Rennehan. Jaymin’s big dream is to create a family business where they build, design, and flip houses with their mother and grandmother. This won’t be their first adventure in entrepreneurship. Jaymin is the founder and CEO of Toni Marlow, an inclusive undergarment brand that specializes in underwear for women, trans men and non-binary people assigned female at birth.
Melissa Chenell
Melissa is a custom woodworker excited to join the crew. She designs and builds custom decor, furniture and wood art in her Nova Scotia-based company, Splinter Sisters.
Dan Croft
Dan Croft will be working as an apprentice on Mandy’s crew this season. As someone with boundless energy, he knows that the trades will be a great career fit. Dan is excited to learn from the crew and hopes to one day start his own business.
