Bryan Baeumler and Scott McGillivray are back for a second season of the ultimate design and reno competition series, Renovation Resort. And if you thought the first season was wild, wait until you see what the hosts with the most have in store for Season 2.
Think bigger vacation homes, bigger transformations, and a massive amount of work. The task ahead of these new teams of contestants isn’t to just put together a nice vacation property: They need to come up with bold and innovative designs that are also functional and desirable.
Given how Season 1 winners Troy and Rotem blew everyone away with their Mediterranean design, there are some big shoes to fill. And, while impressing Bryan, Scott and their team of guest judges is reward enough for some of these folks, it’s the $100,000 grand prize everyone is really after. So, which teams are putting their skills and designs to the test in Season 2?

Rasheeda and Jake
This married couple is excited to dig in and bring their functional chic vibes to viewers. They hail from Philadelphia and have perfected their communication skills over the years, so they may be the team to watch. Together, they’ll dream up and execute some beautiful designs, and given their history, they’ll be ready to pivot and adjust as needed along the way.

Chris and Cami
New meets old with this Canadian team. Chris hails from Toronto and has more than 20 years of experience in renovations, while Cami is from Montreal and is just getting started on her design journey. Cami says that because she’s still new to the game, she has no boundaries, which may fare well in the innovation department. Meanwhile, these two are inspired by travel, art, history, and the one thing Chris never wants to forget: food.
Melissa and Shannon
This dynamic duo hails from Charlotte, North Carolina, and they’re ready to bring their hometown inspirations to the show in a big way. Their self-described style is bold, fun, edgy, and eclectic, and they’re bringing the energy to match. These friends want to bring love, intention, and enthusiasm to their renovations and have a positive mantra to do that: “You got this.” As Shannon says, if Melissa can think it up, her hands can make it.
Graham and Hollie
This father-daughter duo from Orangeville, Ont. is keeping it in the family for this contest. They hope to put a familiar and traditional, but also modern, spin to their cabin and bring home the big prize. Obviously, they’ve known each other forever (in Hollie’s case, her whole life), so their communication should be goals. Plus, as Graham jokes, if Hollie doesn’t listen, he can just ground her.
