Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt’s Former New Orleans Pad Hits the Market

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were once one of Hollywood’s most powerful couples. During their 12 year relationship, Brangelina had a family, started several charitable foundations and purchased homes in France, England and the United States. Among these properties was a historic house in New Orleans, which also served as the base for their Make it Right Foundation, which rebuilt homes destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. Pitt’s connection to the city went beyond their foundation, too; it’s where he filmed some of his most iconic movies, including Interview with the Vampire and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Jolie and Pitt bought the house in 2006 for $3.5 million USD and sold it when they split in 2016.

The 7,703-square-foot estate has a storied history, including a past incarnation as a studio where R&B greats like Little Richard, Ray Charles and Fats Domino once recorded. Meticulously restored in 2017 to modern standards but still maintaining its 19th century Parisian aesthetic, it is currently up for auction with Interluxe Auctions at a starting bid of $1 million USD.

Let’s take a look at this stunning New Orleans property.
