If you’ve fallen in love with the white sandy beaches and beautifully decorated rooms at Caerula Mar Club on Island of Bryan, you’re not alone. The resort is officially open for business and is already getting rave reviews for its atmosphere and service, not to mention the Instagram-worthy beach. So, in honour of season 4 of the B-Team’s island adventures, we decided to dip our own toes into the ocean and put together this handy guide to visiting the Baeumlers’ hot new vacation spot.
Watch new episodes of Island of Bryan starting Sunday, October 2 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Home Network. Also available on the Global TV App and on STACKTV with Amazon Prime Video Channels and Rogers.
Where is the Caerula Mar Club?
This 10-acre oceanfront property is located along the eastern shore of South Andros in the Bahamas. It’s about 200 miles from Miami but feels worlds away, with the third-largest barrier reef in the world, a mangrove ecosystem, and unique marine caverns and blue holes. To get there you’ll need to fly to Congo Town International Airport, which is 10 minutes away. Flights arrive regularly from Ft. Lauderdale and from Nassau.

What Did the Resort Used to Be?
Before becoming the luxurious Bahamian resort we know and love following along on Island of Bryan, the Caerula Mar Club was a forgotten resort from the 1960s that had been vacant for over a decade until the Baeumlers came across it. The doors and windows were boarded up and the resort had chipped away and rusted over the years. Luckily, it didn’t take much for the B-Team to see the diamond in the rough, and we’d say it paid off big time.
When Did Caerula Mar Open?
The resort was originally supposed to open in 2019, but after a few delays doors officially swung open in March 2020. Then the world shut down because of COVID-19, and the Baeumlers were forced to cancel reservations and planned renovations. Thankfully they were able to reopen in October 2020 and they’ve been taking reservations ever since!
How Much Does it Cost to Stay There?
Rates fluctuate depending on when you go and the resort closes for seasonal maintenance between mid-August and mid-October annually. However, adults and children 12 and over can grab a clubhouse room from $425-$555 USD per night during the low season (May to mid-November), $535-$690 per night during the high season (mid-November to the end of April), and $645-$830 per night during the holiday season (two weeks at Christmas).
What About the Suites and Villas?
If you watch the series you know there are also signature collection suites and villas available to rent at Caerula Mar Club. If you go during the low season they run from $690-$1,260 USD nightly. During the high season the cost jumps to $865-$1,570 per night, and over the holidays those accommodations cost anywhere from $1,040-$1,885 per night.
Is There an All-Inclusive Package?
According to the official website, the Caerula Mar Club “is a made-to-measure vacation destination,” however they do not offer an all-inclusive dining package. Instead they offer à la carte and bespoke dining experiences (candlelit dinner by the beach, a grand celebration in the dining room etc.) “for a nominal fee.”
What Kind of Food is There?
There are three restaurants on the resort: Switcha, a café and smoothie bar that offers breakfast and light lunches; Driffs Beachbar, where visitors can grab lunch or a cocktail; and Lusca, the all-day dining room run by Chef Sebastian Perez. All of the dishes are inspired by authentic Caribbean flavours and are crafted with local, seasonal and sustainable ingredients where possible.
What Else Can I Do At the Resort?
With a room reservation, guests also receive access to all kinds of watersports equipment like snorkeling gear, paddleboards and kayaks. You can also use a bicycle or hop on a Hobie Cat Wave. For a fee, guests can also scuba, go deep-sea fishing or rent a yacht. Safe to say you won’t get bored at this resort!
Do They Do Special Events?
Of course. Whether you’re planning a wedding, a special anniversary or a group trip, Caerula Mar Club has you covered. However, since this is an intimate resort, any groups over 24 people require that you rent out the entire property.
Will I See Bryan and Sarah If I Book a Stay?
It’s never guaranteed (they are commuting back and forth from Florida!) but at the end of the day, never say never. Bryan and Sarah still own this luxe spot, and after all of the hard work and money they’ve put into Caerula Mar, we can’t see them leaving it up to someone else to run 24/7 just yet!
