New Real Housewives Star Denise Richards Sells LA Home for a Cool $5M

Denise Richards is about to step into a whole new world of crazy when she becomes one of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but don’t expect her Hidden Hills mansion to be part of the show; according to reports, the former wife of Charlie Sheen sold this gorgeous home for about $5 million – reportedly $100K less than she was asking.

The home is set at the end of a long driveway with a discreet gate blocking the entrance to the 6-bedroom, 8-bath, 8,284-square-foot abode.

Reports indicate that Richards has been trying to sell the place for the past few years, on and off, until selling in late June 2018. It was on the market back in 2016 when it was rented for $30,000 a month by Angelina Jolie. At that time, the asking price was $6,895,000.

The entrance foyer is chic and elegant, yet welcoming – albeit not unlike a fancy hotel lobby.

The stunning kitchen features a bank of windows to capitalize on the glorious treed view, while a huge centre island with dark brown cabinetry dominates.

No need to pick up the phone and order a pizza when you have a wood-burning pizza oven in your kitchen!

This covered kitchen and eating area in the backyard is ideal for SoCal al fresco dining – and yes, that is another pizza oven. Who knew Denise Richards was such a fan of pizza?

It’s a given that Richards enjoyed the summer breeze this open-air covered living area, with gas fireplace and widescreen TV.

A winding brick path from the rear of the home leads to a large swimming pool with man-made grotto-type rock features.

There are actually two lagoon-style swimming pools in the backyard, and plenty of umbrellas and lounge chairs in case guests come over.
